On March 12, 2021, Kevin Martinez celebrates his ninth year with the City of Carlton as the Chief of Police. Chief Martinez came to Carlton in 2012 with over 32 years of experience in law enforcement. Chief Martinez stated that he couldn’t have found a more incredible community made up of wonderful and caring citizens, businesses, and visitors. Having a strong Community Policing mindset that he developed throughout his career in conjunction with the City Council’s Policing Public Policy Resolution of 2012 couldn’t have proved to be a better match in helping serve Carlton's citizens toward a safer and more livable community.
