The City of Carlton is continuing its Clean-up program aimed at helping property owners dispose of Trash, Green Waste, Electronics and Scrap Metal.
The Clean-up program is available to residents living in the City limits of Carlton, in partnership with Recology of Western Oregon.
(NOTICE: Event will end before Noon if dumpsters get filled prior to advertised end time.)
Clean up days are part of an effort by the City to offer Carlton residents and opportunity to alleviate unwanted trash and other items from their property for no cost while avoiding any code infractions. The free cleanup day is offered on April 25, 2026.
After April 25th, the City will be actively increasing code enforcement efforts, sending notices of violations and following up with the issuance of citations (if violations are not remedied).
Items NOT accepted include: hazardous waste, appliances, medical waste, batteries, paint, tires, liquid waste, motor oil, cooking oil, barrels that do not have both ends removed and construction/remodeling debris.
