Due to anticipated high temperatures in the Yamhill, Polk, and Grand Ronde service areas, Recology is planning to start residential collection services for our Friday, Monday, and Tuesday residential customers at 5am. This impacts all lines of service (Garbage, Recycling, and Yard Debris). This will go into effect this Friday and continue through Tuesday collection services.
Customers are being advised to either have their carts out the night before, or by 5am on their collection day.
Also, Recology's McMinnville Transfer Station, as well as our McMinnville compost facility, will close early on Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday at 3pm due to the anticipated heat. Notices will go up on those websites as well as signs posted at the gates.
