PUBLIC NOTICE- East Main Street Force Main Break; Avoid area
PUBLIC NOTICE
At approximately 2 PM, Thursday, December 7th, 2023, the Force Main (sewer line) broke near the 600 block of East Main street. It is not determined at this time what has caused the line to break.
Carlton Public Works are onsite and assessing the situation and will be working to stop the flow from the line this afternoon. Public Works will have construction crews onsite for repair as soon as possible.
Due to the nature of the material from the broken line, the public is asked to avoid the area as well as the Hawn Creek water way.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. Please contact Public Works at 503-852-3104 with any questions.
