PUBLIC WORKS WASTE WATER LAGOON VOLUME

The capacity of the City of Carlton Sewer Lagoons reached a critical level prior to the high volumes of precipitation the week of January 8th through January 13th. The City of Carlton Public Works department pumped Nine Million gallons of partially treated effluent from the Sewer Lagoons to the adjacent swale and Yamhill river. The DEQ and the City of Wilsonville/Viola water districts were notified by the Public Works Director.
