Building

The City of Carlton contracts with Yamhill County to administer all building permits and inspections.

Please contact Yamhill County at 503-434-7516 for specific permitting information regarding properties in a Commercial zone.

A Building Compliance Application (required for all permits except electrical and mechanical) must be completed, along with a Site Plan/Map or scope of work and turned into City Hall for approval.  Once approved by the City, the application is then submitted to Yamhill County Building and Development for permits.
