This project will replace 32,435 feet (6.14 miles) of water transmission pipeline.  Trenchline Excavation is doing the project.  The City received a grant for $7,150,000 for this project which was to cover all aspects of the work including engineering, permitting, construction and change orders.  The City is also entering an agreement with Yamhill County to share a portion of the paving cost for the project and some service line work and reservoir sealing will also be completed.

Completed Items:

  • Mainline pipe installation
  • Reservoir lining 
  • Paving on Panther Creek Road
  • Paving on Meadowlake is partially done. Completion is weather dependent and may need to wait until Spring. 
  • Main line work at the bypass 
  • Main line work near the Water Treatment Plant is near completion

Next Steps:

  • Start the Homestead service line work
  • Determine vehicle pull off locations along roadway for staff to service equipment
  • Schedule a walk through to identify final project items in need for completion (punch list)
  • Design the pipe between the two treated water reservoirs for future work
