PUBLIC NOTICE: Parks Plan Update

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

LEGISLATIVE AMENDMENT (LA 2019-01)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, February 24, 2020, at 6:00 pm, the Carlton Planning Commission will continue the public hearing regarding LA 2019-01, to amend the Carlton Comprehensive Plan to update the Parks Plan, including: population projections; existing parks inventory, improvements between 2014 and 2018, and new NRPA standards.

At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the City Council regarding the proposed amendments. The City Council will conduct a second public hearing to issue a final decision on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at 7:00 pm. Both hearings will be held at City Hall, 191 E. Main St, Carlton.

Persons wishing to participate in the public hearing may appear in person or by representative at the dates and times listed above. Written comments may be submitted by mail to 191 E. Main St., Carlton, OR 97111. One week prior to the meeting, a copy of the staff report will be available for inspection at City Hall at no cost, or may be purchased at a reasonable cost.
