This enactment may be referred to as the Carlton Charter of 2006.

The municipality of Carlton, Yamhill County, Oregon, shall continue to be a municipal corporation with the name “City of Carlton.”

The city shall include all territory encompassed by its boundaries as they now exist or are hereafter modified by the voters, by the Council or by any other agency with legal power to modify them. The City Recorder shall keep at City Hall at least one copy of the City Charter together with a copy of the City Boundary described in meets and bounds. Said legal description shall be available for inspection at City Hall during regular office hours.
