General Election: November
Biennial General Election: November of Even-numbered Years
Special Election: March & September

Nonpartisan Offices: The Mayor position is nominated at large and has a two-year term. The Council is a six-member Council. Council Members are nominated at-large and carry a four-year term. A qualified candidate is at least18 years of age, a registerd voter in the State of Oregon, and a current, legal resident of the City of Carlton continuously during the last 12 months immediately preceding an election.
